Correct market values (NPV) are one of the cornerstones in the daily PL and Risk reporting in Capital Markets Products (CMP).

The goals of the Market Data Team (MDT) is to ensure price consistency and ensure that high quality controlled prices are used for the daily NPV calculation. The Market Data Team is also responsible for performing enhancing independent valuation controls and thus securing the foundations of the CMP business.

As controller you will perform our daily control processes and report quantified PL consequences to your colleagues in the Product Control teams. You will obtain a key role in understanding, supporting and developing e.g. the revaluation curve set-up why strong technical skills are needed. Most of the controls are conducted after market closing, typically between 16.15 and 18.00. This entails that you are supposed to be flexible in respect to working hours.

We will also require you to develop knowledge of our product line in close cooperation with stakeholders (including Trading, Quantitative analysts, Operations Group functions) and apply this through improvements of core processes. We will expect you to deliver value adding solutions through active involvement in various business/infrastructure projects throughout the organisation.

Analytical profile, with initiative and drive to succeed
We are looking for a candidate with a degree in Finance/Economics/ Mathematics or other mathematical background and with detailed knowledge of financial products. We demand strong IT skills, in particular SQL and VBA.

You should be an analytical and a self-driven person, who takes initiative and assumes responsibility to deliver strong value adding results. You are a team player with a high degree of motivation and proactive behaviour. You should possess good communication skills and your English knowledge should be excellent.

Markets Data Team (MDT) is a team within Product Control (PC), Capital Markets Financial and Risk Control (CMFRC), Wholesale Banking (WB).

The purpose of the Product Control office is supporting the trading organisation in risk management and strategic decisions on a wide range of products. PC is responsible for controlling and reporting daily profit/loss. In addition to the daily reporting PC is responsible for conducting and reporting valuation controls. As a facilitator of business development we participate in product approvals and IT infrastructure projects.
