Controller in Product Control Complex & Fixed Income Control, CM Financial and Risk Control, Wholesale Banking recruitment

The Product Control Complex Fixed Income (PC) team is responsible for the PL process for the Capital Markets Products (CMP) Complex Fixed Income Trading area. The product range is bonds, swaps, complex interest rate and inflation products.

As a controller you will be responsible for the daily PL reporting of one of the trading desks and the control processes with a market oriented angle, with focus on understanding the trading business, strategies and analyzing the PL. You will get a key role in understanding, supporting and developing the PL process.

We will also require you to develop knowledge of our product line in close cooperation with our stakeholders (Trading, IT, CMS and units in CMFRC) and apply this through improvements of our core processes. We will expect you to deliver value adding solutions, take ownership as well as being the natural contact point in PC for the tasks related to the trading desk you are responsible for.

Analytical profile, with initiative and drive to succeed

We are looking for a candidate with a degree in Finance/Economics/ Mathematics or other mathematical background and with detailed knowledge of financial products preferably in interest rate derivatives. Good IT skills will be an advantage, in particular SQL and VBA. You should be an analytical a self-driven person who takes initiative assumes responsibility to deliver strong value adding results. You should have good communication skills and be excellent in English.

Product Control Complex Fixed Income (PC) is a team within Product Control Complex Derivatives Bonds section, Capital Markets Financial and Risk Control (CMFRC), Wholesale Banking (WB).

The purpose of the Product Control Complex Derivatives Bonds section is to support the Global Rates trading organisation in profitable trading on a wide range of interest rate products. PC is responsible for controlling and reporting daily profit/loss as well as conducting and reporting valuation controls. As a facilitator of business development we participate in product approvals and IT infrastructure projects.
