Redwood Management an apartment management and development company in Beachwood, OH is rapidly growing, and has an immediate opening for a Controller.
Knowledge and Skill-Set Requirements:
Ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost controls. Proven experience in A/P, G/L, collections, bank recs and financial statement preparation. Position will require strong analytical abilities, extensive computer and software skills in Excel, Word, and a form of financial/property management software – YARDI preferred, but not required (will train) along professional written and oral communication skills. Candidate will be working directly with the Company’s appointed CPA Firm, and will assist with all accounting records in preparation of financial statements, and ensure all reporting is in compliance with the US Department of Housing and Urban Development. Position reports to the President, and will be involved in special project tasks as directed by the President.
A 4-year degree in accounting and finance is required along with a 5-plus year of experience in finance and accounting.
