J. Kent Staffing is hiring immediately for a temporary Controller to start ASAP. Our client is an Oil Gas Operator with a total of 148 wells, 130 active. They are a pre-IPO company who is going through the S-1 process. With the current work load they need to bring in an additional staff member for a 7.5 month period. Position will report directly to the CFO.
Job Responsibilities
§ 50% - Audit coordination
§ 25% - General accounting and account reconciliations
§ 25% Financial Statement preparation, 2 entities monthly, quarterly and year end
Requirements
Qualified J. Kent Candidates present with a Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting, 15 + years related experience and a CPA certification is a plus. Must have Oil Gas experience and the ability to work in a fast paced high demand environment.
