Controller
Our client is seeking a Controller for their Fort Worth, Texas location. This candidate will perform the following duties: * Manage a group of 10+ staff * Direct, manage, supervise and coordinate the activities and operations of the accounting functions * Maintaining and enhancing the internal control systems and procedures of the financial functions * Responsible for the publication of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report and other financial reports * Provide support to the external audit team Requirements: * CPA is required * 4+ years of supervision experience required * Governmental Accounting Standards knowledge required * Single Audit Act of 1984 as it pertains to Federal and State grant programs * Principles and practices of local government finance administration * Principles and practices for budget preparation * Pertinent Federal, State and local laws, codes and regulations
