SUMMARY
Visible and influential role part of the Executive Team and is in direct communication with Senior Executives
Accountability: ensure that all financial accounting policies are consistently and accurately implemented reporting is aligned and adherences to generally accepted accounting policies
Responsible for leading the implementation of best practices, monitor for constant improvement in process efficiency and financial data reporting
Interact extensively with leaders across finance/ corporate
Responsible for financial operations, reporting, and maintenance of internal controls
Responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvement or to enhancements existing practices (automation, customer relationships, commercial business improvements)
Function as a key relationship manager with the business units and with Shared Service on general accounting issues
Strong working knowledge of Accruals (business, revenue), Plant / WIP Accounting
Work with other managers to support and advise on financial implications of business decisions and new business opportunities
Interpret and review financial and operational results with the Executive Team (marketplace trends variances)
External internal financial reporting responsibilities: responsible for assessments while offering support to Executive Team
Heavy interaction / work with external internal auditors
REQUIREMENTS
BBA / BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics
Professional accounting designation: CPA
Public Accounting / Big 4
GAAP, IFRS is highly preferred
Management experience
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
