Our continued growth has created an opportunity to add a Controller to our team that will be located in Kent, Washington. The Controller will oversee the global financial accounting, reporting, general ledger, cash management, policies, procedures and internal controls of the Company and its subsidiaries. Quest Integrity is a fast-growing multinational energy services company and recently became a subsidiary of Team, Inc. (NYSE: TISI). The Controller will be additionally responsible for providing timely and accurate financial statements, reports, forecasts and analyses for both parent company management and internally within Quest Integrity. The Controller will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, maintaining Sarbanes-Oxley internal controls documentation and managing periodic audits with external and internal auditors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Oversees all accounting functions globally, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, payroll, the general ledger, GL account reconciliations, internal/external financial reporting, project accounting, managing auditors, and records management.
2. Substantial hands-on participation in, as well as leadership of, all accounting processes. Due to the limited number of accounting personnel, the Controller will be expected to actively participate in all aspects of the accounting function (e.g., journal entries, performing/reviewing account reconciliations, reviewing payroll, approving cash disbursements) while also supervising, reviewing, teaching and mentoring staff as appropriate.
3. Monthly reporting to parent company of the income statement and balance sheet for each of the Company’s legal entities worldwide, along with a detailed supplemental financial reporting package for each such legal entity to parent company (including researching and communicating variances to parent company).
4. Periodically review and assess key risks, and establish/modify/document internal controls to mitigate such risks and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley.
5. Continual review/assessment of compliance with U.S. generally accepted accounting procedures, and establish/modify processes and procedures to ensure consistency with U.S. GAAP.
6. Review and assess the efficiency of accounting processes worldwide, and conduct annual performance reviews of accounting personnel.
7. Verify proper coding of transactions globally to individual projects, in order to enable project-by-project revenue and cost tracking.
8. Ensure the Company’s online timesheet system accurately captures timesheet data, including modifying fields as necessary to enhance the meaningfulness of such data.
9. Regularly review entries to the general ledger to ensure accuracy and compliance.
10. Actively communicate with customers, vendors, managers and accounting staff regarding a wide variety of topics, via telephone, email, in writing, and in person.
11. Negotiate with vendors and customers as needed.
12. Provide as much leverage as possible to Quest Integrity’s CFO.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
1. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP. Experience managing internationally highly desirable.
2. Exceptionally strong technical and both oral/written communications skills. Very strong in Microsoft Excel. Strength in Microsoft Word and Powerpoint also highly desirable.
3. Knowledge/experience with enterprise accounting systems, including project revenue/cost accounting; experience with SAGE MAS 500 or MAS 200 is highly desirable though not required.
4. Ability to instruct, supervise, manage, and mentor general accounting staff. Significant supervisory experience highly desirable.
5. Ability to maintain good working relationships with co-workers, supervisor, subordinates and external parties.
6. Sense of humility and willingness to listen to others.
7. Highest degree of integrity.
8. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (Accounting or Business preferred) and ten (10) years experience with five (5) years as a Controller/Manager. CPA and multinational experience highly desirable.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Normal for an office environment. Work may require evening and/or weekend work and some travel.
