Controller
C-P Flexible Packaging, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced accounting professional for the position of Controller, to assist us in maintaining our reputation as a premier provider of flexible packaging to our major markets. This position will be a strategic partner with other Directors/Managers while overseeing and supervising daily operations of the Accounting Dept and assisting the CFO with the financial affairs of the organization and with preparation of financial analyses of operations, including interim and final financial statements with supporting schedules, for the guidance of management.
Qualified candidates should have:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; Masters/MBA preferred.
· 5-10 years progressive Accounting experience as Cost Accountant, Accounting Manager or Controller, with minimum of 2 years’ experience supervising other accounting employees.
o Experience in a manufacturing company is preferred.
· Prior experience with: Cost accounting (costing of materials, inventory accounting, labor, and determining/ identification of cost variances and cost reduction opportunities. and job costing analysis), AR/AP, budget analysis and reconciliation, banking and credit oversight and relationship management, etc.
· Candidates must be able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines while working with other Directors/Managers to make sound strategic decisions that benefit the customer and the Company.
· A high attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
· Superior communication and organizational skills to help ensure the best service possible to internal and external customers and external financial institutions.
