Controls Engineer

We are a provider of full facility integration solutions. Specializing in design, integration, construction and development for vehicle, components and engine manufacturers. We seek a Controls Engineer interested in a rewarding career in a fast-paced, team environment. The individual will work with teams of engineers of varied disciplines to provide excellent client service, from the design concept stage through commissioning and job closeout.

What you need for this position:

- BS in EE
- Minimum 5 years experience in design/building/programming of PLC systems with field experience, from design to start up
- Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC) and UL508A
- Proven Mechanical Aptitude
- Ability to travel to customer facilities for design meetings, install supervision and commissioning

What you'll be doing:

- Programming and integrating PLC's (Allen Bradley, Siemens)
- HMI's
- Creating Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Purchasing control system components
- Create panel layouts
- Knowing mechanical and electrical systems and their associated controls
- Work with other project engineers and technicians to design, set up and perform system functionality tests
