Controls Engineer is responsible for insuring proper configuration/programming and calibration of all instrumentation and critical equipment controls on site. This position is also responsible for project management and coaching of Instrumentation Technicians.

Controls Engineer will personally support the site safety initiative and ensure participation from all reporting employees by:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience designing and implementing PLC or DCS and HMI systems including Allen Bradley, Siemens, Modicon, Wonderware, Intellution, etc... as well as extensive instrumentation experience including tuning of PID controls where proportional valves are used.

At least 2 years of project management experience is also required. Training and coaching of technicians preferred.

Must be able to troubleshoot IC issues to root cause and recommend or implement effective corrective actions.
