Salary - £neg but around £35k + Bens
Location - Leicestershire
A world leading manufacturer currently seek a talented Controls Engineer at their Leicestershire site to design of generator control instrumentation systems as well as provide technical support to customers and internal stakeholders.
Controls Engineer key responsibilities :
Applications engineering for control systems projects
Prepare review technical specifications including review of customer specifications
Participate in cross-functional activities such as customer meetings, quality improvements, product and project review.
Support sales and service personnel by occasionally working on sites in the UK, offshore and overseas when required.
Controls Engineer Skills and Experience required :
Knowledge of power electronics applications issues
Knowledge of electrical power generation control, instrumentation protection equipment including design of 15kV cubicles
Knowledge of communication equipment for protection relays such as IEC61850
Ability to manage multi-project streams
