Controls Manager
An exciting new job has arisen for an experienced Controls Manager to join a Gloucestershire based head office function of this financial services group. The main focus of the Controls Manager will be to improve the controls process across the group, reviewing current procedures and implementing improvements.
The successful individual will be the controls expert within the business with and as such will be the key liaison point for internal and external stakeholders. You will have responsibility for managing the delivery of the controls plan and working with operational management teams to gain their "buy in" when promoting self-assessment and build strong working relationships. You will also be involved in reviewing third party controls processes to ensure they adhere to company requirements.
The successful applicant will be an experienced controls manager with strong communication skills and the ability to both support and challenge key stakeholders as necessary and achieve deadlines. Your strong analytical and communication skills will enable you to effectively enhance business controls. Experience of controls within a financial services environment is essential.
