Controls Team Accountant
My client, a successful Financial services organisation based in Manchester, is recruiting for a member of their Controls Team. The Controls Team Accountant job will be based in Manchester, providing quality assurance, reporting and issue management as part of the UK Control Team.
The role will be responsible for supporting control reviews to minimise risk and promote best practice, performing balance sheet reconciliations, quality assurance and remediation. You will also support the delivery of high quality management information for stakeholder reporting on key control processes. Additionally, you will be required to undertake any ad-hoc data analysis to support other projects and initiatives.
You will be a Qualified Accountant with strong accounting or control experience. You will have demonstrated working knowledge of control frameworks (eg. SOX, Lines of Defence, COSO) within a Financial environment. You will also be able to communicate effectively through succinct reports and with staff at a variety of levels.
