Description

The incumbent is a senior project manager responsible for leading large, complex client conversions or existing client/business initiatives. The incumbent will be involved with complex projects or conversion activities as directed by the Conversion Services Manager. S/He will provide highly specialized technical and processing support to the various Conversion Teams. This support includes, but is not limited to, systems expertise and advanced subject matter training or experience. S/He will be responsible for developing and implementing tools to streamline the existing conversion activities. S/He will also be responsible for producing management reporting. S/He is responsible for quality assurance and will have direct client and senior management contact. In addition, s/he will provide input to process improvements and policy level direction. The qualified candidate will possess a Bachelor s degree with a concentration in Accounting or Finance preferred or comparable work experience. Project planning, communication, administration, execution and team building are all critical functions to be performed by the incumbent. The ability to involve the right people, identify problems, work with the client and business/technical teams to identify solutions, and escalate potential issues early in the process is essential. S/He must have an extensive knowledge of securities and trust accounting theories and practices. S/He must be familiar with PC applications, web-based systems and should have a thorough understanding of asset transfers (securities, collective/mutual funds). S/He must possess strong analytical and communication skills and be able to work independently and under pressure while adhering to strict deadlines. S/He must demonstrate effective leadership skills. Requires 10 years of relevant securities experience.
