The New Installations (NI) Team is responsible for converting new self-clearing brokerage firms, fully disclosed correspondents and managing firm or sub de-conversions. In addition, the NI group also handles all Mergers and Acquisition and New Sub setup activities. This role would be managing one large project or managing several smaller projects. This role has overall ownership for all aspects of an assigned project. This team member will function in a lead role for projects but will not manage a permanent team. - Managing, prioritizing, overseeing, balancing and delegating workload and all tasks relate to the successful implementation of the project. (35%)
- Working with the Data Conversions Team to ensure that all data is converted accurately and per firms instructions. (30%)
- Working with the Production Control-Operations Teams to ensure that all JCL is setup for test and production events. (10%)
- Managing escalation and communication between TTS and the client or internal at TTS. (5%)
- Assisting clients with making necessary business decisions including engaging the appropriate TTS subject matter experts. (5%)
- Assisting client with resolving business and technical issues, planning for production installation. (5%)
- Providing feedback, accurate and timely reward and recognition for project team members. (5%)
- Conducting one-on-one coaching and development with team members. (5%)
This position is located in Brookfield, WI.
Skills
Senior implementer in technical space with exposure to the following:
- IBM Mainframe using TSO and JCL
- IBM Utility programs (ie., SORT)
- ZEKE scheduling software and File Aid
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience managing projects, working with a changing landscape and directing a variety of stakeholders
- Strong technical knowledge, especially in mainframe development
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Financial industry experience preferably in brokerage
- Resolves conflicts, confrontations, or disagreements in a constructive manner
- Ability to successfully multi-task; highly organized and detail oriented
