Convertible Bonds Arbitrage Portfolio Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client, a mid to large volatility US hedge fund are looking to add a convertible bond volatility trader to run an arbitrage portfolio. They are looking for candidates who have experience on both the sell and buy side who have a sustained record of success in the space. The group are very much focused on bringing on board a vol trader and are not interested in long only traders / portfolio managers.
REQUIRED:
7+ years Convertible Bond Vol Trading Experience
Sustained track record on both sell and buy side.
Outgoing, communicative and willing to work in a dynamic environment
Able to work autonomously but also as part of a wider, collegiate team

SUMMARY:
In summary this role is for a senior convertible bond arbitrage vol trader in New York. They are looking for someone with at least 7 years trading experience who has exposure to the sell side, and crucially, to the buy side (at another top fund). This is a vol trading role, not a long only position.
