My client, a well respected law firm based in York are looking to recruit a Conveyancing Executive to join their busy team. They have a strong position within the legal field and continue to go from strength to strength in a very competitive marketplace.
Role Information:
To work within the residential conveyancing team in order to provide a service to our clients which is of the highest standards at all times. To utilise the case management system in the department in order to obtain maximum efficiency.
Skills and Experience:
· Responsibility for a caseload of between 30 - 100 files (depending on level/experience)
· Utilising case plan effectively and ensure action list is kept up to date
· Inputting post on a daily basis
· Ensuring full file notes are kept for all telephone conversations
· Updating Client and Estate Agents of all progress and any problems relating to the file
· Developing relationships with referrers
· Completing monthly minimum 30% of pipeline as two months' previous
· Supervision and coaching of your Conveyancing Assistant and Administrators
· Adhering to Department's process and procedures
· Complying with service levels
· Achieving a minimum of 12% return rate of surveys
· Achieving a minimum of 90% customer satisfaction
· Achieving a minimum of 85% success rate of clients indicating we were better than a previous Solicitor
· Achieving a minimum of 90% audit score
· Collecting all fees and disbursements due from the Client and bill for any additional services where appropriate
· Covering telephones and supervising part time assistants on evening and weekend rota
· Ensuring SDLT submitted and paid within 30 days of completion
· Ensuring application for registration forwarded within priority period, any requisitions are deal with promptly and registration completed within 3 months of completion
· A detailed understanding of residential conveyancing process
· Familiarity with case management
· Ability to work in a team
· An ability to work under pressure and to deal with clients and professional people in a polite, sympathetic but straightforward way
· To undertake any other reasonable duties as required which are appropriate to the post
