1)      Chief Operating Officer – New York State

 

Direct all aspects of daily operations including leading and motivating staff members to meet high customer experience and ensuring the activities of the organization in support of goals, and objectives in coordination with the President by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate managers.

 

2)      Vice President of North American Operations – Long Island, NY

 

In this role, you will be responsible for consistently delivering results in a broad role that contributes to the overall success of the company.  This newly created position will assist in driving the company's success by coordinating and interacting with senior managers that lead Real Estate, Warehouse Operations, Safety, Purchasing, Internal Audit, Asset Protection, and Branch Operational functions.  This individual will partner with the company's key leadership to further growth initiatives, strategic efforts, and consistently review internal procedures.

3)      Director of OEM Sales (Automotive) – Detroit, MI (Work from Home Office)

 

Our Client is looking for a highly motivated OEM Sales Director to champion their automotive product offerings. This position requires that candidates demonstrate a proven track record of successive technical sales positions with increased responsibility, culminating in the development and management of successful OEM Strategic accounts at the global level. This role also acts primarily as an individual contributor within a rapidly growing company while they roll out their cutting edge global patented technology. They have already partnered with two very large fortune 200 companies and are looking to add to their portfolio and this role will be a critical component to this process.

General Overview of Duties:

·         Identify new opportunities for business

·         Contact and grow business with existing clients

·         Contact and visit named accounts which are deemed critical to companies continued success

·         Develop sales plans, strategies, and final presentations designed to enhance revenue growth and meet our customer needs

·         Identify, develop, and implement effective sales plans and strategies

·         Maintain regular contact with customers to ensure satisfaction

·         Remain knowledgeable of organization's products/services to facilitate sales efforts

 

Requirements:

·         BSc. in Engineering (electrical or mechanical preferred)

·         MBA highly desirable

4)      Vice President of OEM Sales (Smart Phones Semi-Conductors)  

Location: West Coast or San Francisco Region (Work from Home Office)

 

·         Must have a technical foundation (Engineering, Software Development, Semi-Conductors etc.), preference for advanced degree also MBA, MS

·         Must have career stability that is progressive in nature.

·         Technical sales background required, experience selling hardware components to large international OEM’s

·         Must have recent Sales Business development across handset makers (HTC, Samsung, LG, Motorola, Apple etc.) and also semi-conductor / chip makers (Broadcom, QUALCOMM, Texas Instruments etc.)

·         US Based, preference for West Coast based applicants

·         Independent home office environment – may be head of NA sales, I think most likely this will be the one over the Detroit role

·         Experience managing sales organization nationally remotely

·         Preference for some exposure in a start-up based environment

 

5)      Director of Human Resources (HR) – Syracuse, NY Region

 

General Overview:

This person will be overseeing Compensation, Benefits and HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems).  This person will have around 15 total direct / indirect resources reporting to them who would be managers of Benefits, HRIS and Compensation. 

 

Responsibilities:

Ø  Organizational Development: Directs a process of organizational planning that evaluates structure, job design, and human capital needs throughout the organization; Develops and implements policies and programs to ensure attraction of the highest caliber talent; Collaborates with Senior Management to develop annual hiring plan and recruiting budget for all positions; Provides management coaching to senior level staff; Develops and manages policies and programs to ensure effective succession planning

 

Ø  Employee Relations: Formulates and recommends HR policies and objectives with regards to employee relations, ensuring alignment with company culture and standards; Determines and recommends employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote outstanding employee morale; Plays a leading role in resolving employment related legal disputes while protecting the interests of both the company and employees; Oversees the performance management process

 

Ø  Compensation and benefits: Works closely with the CFO/Finance, oversees benefits and compensation policies, procedures, programs and standards across operating locations; Guides the benefits and compensation strategy planning and administration process; Assists with the negotiation, implementation and administration of benefit programs and policies

 

Ø  Growth:  Identify, support, and drive change, working closely with the executive team to build and grow the organization through best practices; Analyze workforce trends and develop initiatives to drive organizational performance; Provide strong leadership, strategic, organization development and communications skills; Translate business needs into human resources priorities and ensure alignment of goals and objectives (This is a Key Focus Point)

 

Ø  Bachelor’s degree, preferably in human resources or equivalent experience; MBA a plus; or J.D. with demonstrated mastery in Human Resources, having worked as a lawyer for 5 years with a law firm or in-house legal department or government agency

 

6)        Director of Manufacturing Engineering (Electronics) – Buffalo, NY

 

This is a Senior Management and technical leadership position responsible for creating corporate vision, setting goals, developing strategic plans and driving company culture.  Specific overall responsibility for Manufacturing Engineering. Works with personnel from sales, engineering and manufacturing to develop, implement and monitor business plans aimed at achieving corporate objectives. Develops and implements policies and procedures at the corporate as well as engineering levels. Provides professional direction and leadership to all areas of the company.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Works with Executive Management and Management Team Members to create vision and set goals for the primary corporate objectives. Develops both short and long term strategic corporate plans, which are congruent with Executive Management expectations, required to meet these goals.

·         As a member of the Management Team, develops and implements companywide policies / procedures / systems, which align with core values and company culture. Assists other Management Team members with the development of their strategic plans. Able to help effectively resolve interdepartmental issues.

·         Works in conjunction with manufacturing personnel to create plans and drive engineering personnel to meet specific continuous improvement goals (e.g.: RTY, Scrap, Throughput, PPHH, Cost, Customer Quality).  Develops, maintains, communicates and regularly posts reports, which monitor progression of these key metrics to help drive accountability and overall resource management. This direct responsibility exists for the assembly test cells, components services areas as well as the machining center in the Plant. Provides regular feedback down to the supervisors and technicians, as well as upward to Executive Management on the progress each area is making towards the goals and objectives. Updates the plans, as necessary, to reach goal.

·         Works as a bridge between design engineering and manufacturing to insure new products are successfully launched into production. This ownership of the “bill of process” includes developing items such as product routing, detailed assembly procedures, PFMEAs and assembly fixtures as well as active participation in product reviews (from concept to final manufacturing readiness).

·         Overall responsibility for Planned Maintenance Group which includes ownership of items such as scheduled maintenance, machine capability, equipment uptime and emergency repairs of existing equipment. Additionally, works directly with manufacturing and engineering personnel to help justify, specify, quote / purchase, install and verify new equipment.

 

7)         Director / Practice Lead  (Banking Risk) – New York

 

Responsibilities:

·         Lead an organization of consultants. Attract, retain, develop and motivate a team of highly qualified professionals, including experienced consultants as well as novices.  Provide leadership and guidance to individual staff members and ensure that revenue and utilization targets are met.

·         Lead business development efforts.  Lead sales efforts.  Meet with prospective clients to share expertise, recommend solutions, and scope out projects.  Oversee the development of proposals, pitch presentations, and contracts.  Set prices and negotiate terms.  Execute against financial targets.

·         Provide thought leadership to clients.  Help diagnose and evaluate clients’ issues and concerns.  Draw upon expertise, experience, and knowledge of “best practice” to formulate high impact solutions that conform to client’s expectations for time and budget.

·         Provide expert guidance to consulting teams.  Review proposals, project plans, and analytical outputs and suggest alternative approaches.  Work with engagement managers to review and fine tune the scope of consulting engagements.  Set expectations for quality.  Manage and resolve issues, providing relevant guidance and specific remedies to consulting teams.

 

Qualifications: 

·         Minimum 10-15 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 3-5 years at a top-tier consulting firm or at a blue chip financial services company

·         Track record of leading at least 15 substantial projects of moderate to advanced complexity for companies in the financial services sector

·         Track record of building and/or leading high performing teams of professionals

·         Experience developing external relationships (i.e., with clients, strategic partners, etc.) and/or developing proposals for large scale projects

·         Experience scoping, planning, and costing complex projects

·         Experience interacting with senior executives (i.e., SVP or MD level and above

·         Experience with Basel, Solvency II, or IFRS a plus

·         Minimum Master Degree or equivalent from an internationally recognized institution

·         CPA, CFA, PRM, or FRM a plus

·         Strong client-orientation with demonstrated commitment to client satisfaction

8)         Director of Manufacturing Engineering (Cable Polymers Industry) – New York

 

This is a Divisional Management and technical leadership position within the Manufacturing / Operations Department. The Director of Manufacturing / Engineering will work with QA, Operations, Marketing, Supply Chain and Engineering to ensure products are manufactured to specification, minimizing total cost and production delays.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Direct and mentor staff of managers and leaders, provide feedback on performance and developmental planning. Attend and prepare for monthly sales and operational planning meetings to discuss divisional performance and review sales forecast support needed. Drive lean manufacturing program to improve safety, product costs and reduce lead times. Interact daily with other departments, customers and business lines to coordinate business objectives and support. Develop and sustain world-class manufacturing capability.

·         Plan, organize and direct the manufacturing and maintenance operations which ensure the most effective return on assets.

·         Assure attainment of business objectives and productions schedules while insuring product standards that will exceed our customers’ expectations.

·         Implement manufacturing strategies and action plans to ensure that the facility supports Network Enterprise’s strategic initiatives.

·         Establish group and individual accountabilities throughout assigned departments for problem solving and cost reduction, both on a permanent and ad-hoc basis, depending on need.

·         Encourage use of new techniques and focus on fact based problem solving.

·         Manage spending against budget and in relation to changes in production volume.

·         Work to establish management practices throughout assigned areas which include all employees’ positive involvement with opportunity for construction input and action.

 

Requirements:

·         A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Manufacturing Engineering Manager with a consumer electronics or cable manufacturer.

·         A minimum of 4 years’ experience managing suppliers in China.

·         Thorough understanding of product configuration management practices (BOMs, specifications, ECR/ECO/MCO, part numbers, rules of interchangeability).

·         Develop and maintain labor standards and process capabilities for manufacturing wire and cable.

·         Design and Prepare drawings for miscellaneous extrusion equipment including; tooling, cross-heads, flange adapters, breaker plates, testing, etc.

·         Thorough understanding of product packaging material and construction, including boxes, bags, shock and vibration reduction testing and color control.

·         Work with all Cable Products Group plant buyers, planners and management to drive significant vendor cost reductions and affect purchasing decisions over a widely diversified vendor base.  Direct interface with key vendors to drive cost reductions.

·         Detailed understanding of common component construction and specifications (datacom cables, power supplies, PCBs, injection molded plastic parts, sheet-metal).

·         Must have exceptional skill at organizing and prioritizing tasks to support department objectives.

·         Must have excellent written and verbal English language skills, ability to interact with ASPAC suppliers

·         BS degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering is required.
