COO / FC – alternative investment firm recruitment
This firm has a few different business lines all geared toward the hedge fund / alternatives space.
They’ve been around for a number of years and have built up a small, high caliber team whom work well together.
The role is hands on and will require the individual to perform / have responsibility for a wide range of tasks including; accounting (both company fund), IT, compliance, legal, administrators, client reporting, operations etc.
You will need to be commercial minded and very detail orientated.
There is also a client facing element to this position so good communication skills are essential.
You will supervise one member of staff.
It is very important that you have the attitude necessary to do whatever needs doing no matter how menial.
It is envisaged that the appointee will have worked for an investment management company, perhaps as a financial controller / deputy COO / similar.
We are ideally looking for some sort of accounting qualification.
You will have a proper understanding of fund accounting operations.
