COO Management Team Support recruitment

London COO Management team manages around 200 staff across a broad range of functions providing operations expertise to the UK Wealth Management business. The team require full-time support from an enthusiastic, multi-skilled and flexible individual with the ability and willingness to learn quickly.

The successful candidate will support the Management team across a broad range of tasks and will be exposed to the multi-faceted nature of the WM business in the UK.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Support the Heads of Operations, Operations Risk, and the COO Management Office in executing management office tasks on a broad range of topics, including preparation of management presentations and reports, collation of presentation packs for monthly meetings such as the location Operating Committee and other critical COO meetings. I
- Over time you will increasingly attend these meetings and prepare accurate and comprehensive draft minutes of them.
- Support the Head of Operations and Management Office in managing monthly risk controls
- Diary management for Heads of Operations and Operations Risk, i.e. co-ordinating, gate keeping, ensuring that the schedule is rigorously adhered to and that managers are prepared for their meetings with any information material printed in advance.
- Managing travel arrangements for Heads of Operations, Operations Risk and Management Office.
- Processing expenses and reimbursements for Heads of Operations, Operations Risk and Management Office, through Concur.
- Organising team logistics and co-ordinating internal and external meetings, off-sites, including room bookings
- Support the location Business Continuity Manager in day-to-day BC role
- Managing COO distribution lists to reflect
- Support COO management team in all aspects of on-boarding new staff, liaising with CREAS, IT and HR as appropriate
- Throughout the role, liaising with numerous management offices and key departments across the Bank

The ideal candidate will:
• Have the ability to work in an efficient manner independently and in a team environment.
• Have excellent communication skills, both oral and written and as such be able to liaise with colleagues in an approachable yet professional manner.
• Have demonstrated proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint in previous roles.
• Be delivery focused, see tasks thorough to completion and able to multi-task, prioritise and manage diaries in an efficient manner.
• Be detail-oriented and accurate; both being characteristics that are essential to this role.
• It is advantageous if the person has previously worked in banking / financial services.
