COO/Chief Complaince/General Manager
An exciting COO role for an individual that understands how to run a small brokerage business - from the UK regulation perspective to the operations of it.
Essentialy we are looking for someone to be "eye and ears" of the founders and has the knowlegde and experience of running a smaller brokerage business from compliance to operations (knowledge of Arabic will be advantageous in this role) :
- Work consultatively and in close coordination with senior management
- Provide prompt, thorough and accurate information to keep senior management informed of the Company’s Operations and Financial Positions, including Financial projections and Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process
- Ensure that the Company maintains and implements an adequate internal control mechanism that meet all regulatory and compliance requirements
- Performing the daily client money reconciliations and FCA CMAR reporting
- Responsible for additional FCA reporting including Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Capital Adequacy position
- Hands on approach and daily involvement relating to Client Acceptance procedures and to oversight to ensure that Company complies at all times with its Know Your Client and Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing procedures in line with compliance and regulatory requirements for new and existing clients of the Company
- Responsible for staff performance management
This role will suit an individual that understands the regulations operational running of a small brokerage business and has strong communication skills in order to be able to communicate with the Middles Eastern founders.
