SUPERVISOR: HEAD CHEF

 

Job Summary: This position is responsible for preparing food and cooking orders for customers according to menu specifications.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Performs multiple tasks simultaneously to ensure all food orders are complete and are timely executed.

·         Ensures timely completion of orders to customer satisfaction.

·         Ensures quality and visual presentation of food.

·         Assist with special events.

·         Follows daily “to-do” lists.

·         Operates various kitchen equipment and reports malfunctioning equipment.

·         Monitors stovetops and ovens.

·         Reports unsafe conditions in the kitchen and suggests possible solutions to hazards.

·         Prepares raw ingredients into finished product, per specifications.

·         Must have a keen sense of taste and smell.

·         Performs daily preparation of food. 

·         Puts away stock and must restock stations.

·         Maintains work areas for cleanliness according to health Department specifications

·         Maintains personal hygiene and uniform.
