Energy Resources of Australia is a publicly listed company that has mined and produced uranium oxide from its Ranger mine in the beautiful and rugged Alligator Rivers area of the Northern Territory since 1980.  The open cut Ranger mine is on Aboriginal land, and is surrounded by, but separate from, the spectacular Kakadu National Park. 
 
Reporting to the Specialist, Project Planning and Engineering you will lead and mentor a team of planning professionals to deliver the study/planning phases of a project according to the annual sustaining capital plan, ensuring all operational needs and objectives are achieved in a safe and sustainable way. The sustaining capital plan has projects of value up to several million dollars.
 
Key to success in this role will be your demonstrated experience overseeing and mentoring a project team, ensuring the deliverables of each project phase are achieved, reviewing quality reports. Establishing the work packages for construction engaging with contractors and assisting with and negotiating scope of works packages. Experience with both brown and green field projects is desired and knowledge of Primavera would be advantageous.
 
Essential to this role are tertiary qualifications in engineering or project management coupled with a proven commitment to managing and achieving a workplace target of zero injuries and incidents.
