The position holder has the role of Group Owner, Service Request Owner and local Service Delivery Manager as well as Service Request Analyst. The role will manage and direct the activities of the IMAC team in service requests while is also responsible for forecasting hardware planning and monthly ordering and for the planning of various activities. The position holder will manage and direct improvements for processes and products and organising weekly meetings with the IMAC Team.

The opportunity

Ensures that all service requests are resolved / fulfilled within the SLA. Escalates any service request which breaches its SLA to the appropriate Process Manager.
Ensures that staging service is provided timely, effectively and adheres to departmental standards, policies and OLAs minimizing adverse impact of service failures. Ensures that it copes effectively with the complexity and volume of end user service requests raised.
Responsible for the KPI's of assigned service requests. Communicates feedback to the originator of the service request. Owner of linked service requests and ensures timely resolution where assigned to his team.
Performs the role of Service Request Analyst by validating and approving customer requests for hardware, consulting with the customer where required.
In collaboration with Service Delivery Managers, support in managing relationships with external suppliers of the area and provides feedback to the performance of services.
Performs area service delivery management, which includes service improvement and demands management activities for local based services.
Ensures timely, appropriate, clear and targeted communication is managed to both internal and external IT units and customers.
Leads and participate in IT and business related projects as required.

About you

Degree or qualification in an IT related discipline or equivalent technical and business experience.
ITIL certification and ITIL knowledge (especially regarding Request Fulfillment) and expert in Operations (End user devices).
2 years of management experience, ideally within an IT Service environment.
Sound know-how in hardware lifecycle management and desktop engineering experience with client computing automation, management, collaboration and virtualization technologies.
Experience of cross functional working and cultural sensitivity.
Good to excellent command of German and English.
