COORDINATOR
Individual Psycho Social Rehabilitation Support Services (IPRSS)Part time fixed term contract to 30th June 2014
Winner of the 2010 Dr Margaret Tobin Award for Excellence in Mental Health, Helping Hand is focused on the delivery of services to improve the health and wellbeing of the South Australian community. Our services are focused on strengthening the independence of ageing people and encouraging optimum mental and physical health.
As part of our community services, we have a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Support Services program for people over the age of 65 designed to enhance their independence and community participation and to assist them in their journey of recovery. The IPRSS program focuses on providing high quality services for people with a mental illness living in the community in the Northern and Western metropolitan areas.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated person to oversee our program. If you are the type of person that is driven, creative and has a passion for helping people then this role is right for you. You will have demonstrated experience in the recovery model framework and mental health, and hold a relevant tertiary degree in Human Services.
You will be working in a supportive, multi-disciplinary team, providing innovative and consumer driven approaches to service delivery and have a proven track record of problem solving and mentoring in challenging and complex community based environments.
