COORD QUALITY IMPROVEMENT Reference Title HR Use Only: Coordinator Quality Improvement Hospital: Cleveland Clinic Main Campus Family Health Centers Facility: CLEVELAND CLINIC FOUNDATION (MAIN CAMPUS) Department: HVI Administration Job Code: T2655M Pay Grade: 13 Schedule: Full Time Shift: Days Hours: 8am-5pm Job Details: Summary: Responsible for coordinating the implementation of the quality management program. Job Responsibilities: Responsible for the preparation of reports, statistics, agendas, and activities related to Quality Improvement. Coordinates any efforts toward accreditation Responsible for the development of and assures maintenance of monitoring process for Quality Management with regard to reviewing indicators, accuracy of data collection, reporting consistency, promptness and identifying opportunities for quality improvement. Maintains and follows the ERISA and CMS regulations and CMD processes pertaining to the appeals and expedited appeals processes Performs internal quality audits, collects, monitors and analyzes data for the purpose of measuring effectiveness of programs and procedures. Renew clinical documentation, identify gaps and solicit clarification. Provides training and support of problem list use to all Heart and Vascular Institute providers. Identify opportunities for improvement, works with providers and administration team to design and implement improvements. Provides training and support of risk based evaluation and management model. Other duties as assigned. Education: Bachelor's of Science in Nursing or Master's Degree in Behavioral health or other related health management degree required. Experience: Three experience in Quality Improvement. Three years clinical experience. Experience working directly with physicians. Utilization review, Case Management, and/or coding and DRG Assurance experience strongly preferred. Licensure/Certification/Registration: May require a license in a medically related field such as: Licensed in the State of practice as a Registered Nurse or Counseling LPCC or Social Work LISW. Physical Requirements: Requires extensive sitting and dexterity to perform work on a PC. Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time. Good visual acuity through normal or corrected vision. Excellent hand/eye coordination. Lift up to 25 pounds. Manual dexterity to operate personal computers and standard office machines.
