Copier Service Technician Job in Watertown, New York US

We seek an individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment to service our award winning products. You will be responsible for installation, on-site repair and maintenance of our analog and digital copiers, facsimiles, multifunctional and connected digital products.
Primary Duties:
- Performs installation, preventive maintenance and adjustment of equipment with limited supervision
- Repairs equipment at the site location. Includes complex disassembly, cleaning, and replacement of individual parts, reassembly, testing and adjustment.
- Performs logical troubleshooting of equipment, electrical and electronic circuits to determine the cause of malfunctions.
- Estimates parts and labor for repair. Researches the current cost of replacement equipment and recommends repair or replacement of the equipment.
- Maintains work area and tools clean and neatly organized.
- Maintains effective customer relationships as well as good working relationships with fellow staff.
- Performs related duties as assigned within classification.
Qualifications:
- Applicant must possess some computers, and electronics, Computer/Digital Technology or related fields.
- Must have working knowledge of networks and networking.
- High degree of initiative.
- Exceptionally skilled in organization, attention to detail and effective prioritization of duties.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be positive, outgoing, self-motivated and committed to building and maintaining strong customer relations.
- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and have proof of a valid driver’s license and car insurance for the state in which the job is located.
