Deloitte's Financial Services Tax group consists of a team of well established tax specialists who work exclusively with financial services clients. Our group has a distinctive role within the Deloitte Tax Practice, enabling links with actuarial, audit and corporate finance professionals within the firm and right across our global network. This enables us to provide our clients with comprehensive compliance and advisory services supporting them with the development of products and tax planning ideas, whilst ensuring they meet all reporting, filing and regulatory obligations with the relevant authorities.
As an Assistant Manager at Deloitte, you will be required to undertake a comprehensive list of duties ranging from the completion of tax returns, under corporate tax self assessment, to complex consultancy assignments and strategic tax planning. You will also have the opportunity to advise UK and international clients on transactional and MA issues. The different projects that you will be managing will ensure that you are challenged on a daily basis.

To be considered, you must be able to demonstrate:
- UK corporate tax experience gained from an in house role within a financial institution or from an accountancy/legal/advisory firm;
- An ACA or CTA qualification;
- The desire and motivation to advance your career in financial services;
- The ability to manage a portfolio of clients and projects as well as managing junior staff;
- The ability to work closely with clients, applying practical and commercial concepts to technical work;
- The ability to work in a team; and
- Strong communication and written skills.
