A Head of IT Security is required to lead the overhaul of a pre-existing IT Security infrastructure. The successful candidate will lead the assessment of current state architecture, design the new Infrastructure and then implement the agreed solution for a global financial markets organisation. The role is to interface with information security and then design the system that provides the appropriate controls across the global infrastructure. You will have comprehensive project delivery experience in end to end solutions for the business. You will set the security management and strategy in the development of clear security strategies. You will define the policy and standards to adhere to across the business as well as actually perform security and penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
The successful candidate must have been instrumental in a global review and the subsequent design and implementation of the chosen strategy for IT and Information security.
Technically you will have current exposure or recent exposure to BS and ISO Security standards. Knowledge of Checkpoint, antivirus software, remote access, cryptography, penetration testing, telcos and have an ITIL qualification to enable service delivery.
