Supply Demand Management (SDM) is a shared service and global competence center responsible for directing and controlling all supply management activities for the entire bank across all regions, divisions and commodities. SDM is responsible for establishing an effective framework for Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and to ensure UBS derives the maximum value and mitigates risk within it’s existing supply base
Reporting to the global Head of Supplier Risk and Relationship Management, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving the deployment and ongoing success of UBS’ Corporate SRM program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Acts as SRM Relationship Lead for designated geographies, Business Divisions and SDM Sourcing areas
• Provides expert SME support to UBS Lead Vendor Relationship Managers and account teams both within SDM and Business Divisions
• Drives, monitors and reports SRM program status across major supplier relationships, including compliance against SRM minimum standards
• Identifies key trends across major supplier relationships to support benefits realization, risk mitigation and continuous improvement
• Provides support to Lead Vendor Relationship Managers to meet and deliver core program deliverables such as annual current state assessment, segmentation, and new supplier on-boarding
• Acts as interface with regional Control Groups and other relevant stakeholders on all SRRM related risk management activities
• Supports centralized SRM knowledge management, transfer and training
• Works with SDM, Business Divisions, and Control Groups to drive continuous improvement across SRM Framework
Basic Qualifications
• Strong leadership, communication and project management skills
• Experienced SRM leader and/or knowledge of end to end supply management
• Understanding of risk and control environments
• Proven experience in delivery results in complex matrix environment
