Volt has a Direct Hire opportunity in Bothell, WA for a Copywriter/Content Manager.
Position Description:
The Copywriter/Content Manager is responsible for:
- Working with internal customers and key stakeholders to scope content projects.
- Gathering and developing content (i.e. marketing text, articles and white papers, blog posts and other written works).
- Providing copywriting/editing services and/or assigned resources as necessary.
The Copywriter/Content Manager combines drive, enthusiasm and strong people skills in order to develop the complete content strategy plan and achieve marketing objectives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with Director of MarCom (Marketing Communications) to develop the content strategy plan and content calendar for each internal customer.
- Provide copywriting and editing services.
- Develop and enforce editorial style guidelines.
- Define editorial workflow for all projects.
- Assess, catalogue and organize content.
- Ensure that content is up-to-date and current on an ongoing basis.
- Work with the Drupal website in order to add and update content pages.
This is a Direct Hire position in Bothell, WA, through Volt Technical Creative Communication, which is headquartered in Redmond, WA. Requirements:
Required Skills for this Copywriter/Content Manager position include the following:
- Writing experience in a Healthcare and/or Medical Devices Company mandatory
- Must have a BA in Communications, Journalism, and/or Marketing
- Should have 5+ years of experience writing and editing content for a variety of online and offline media in a B2B environment
- Must have strong writing and editing skills
- Should have experience:
- Developing and enforcing editorial style guidelines
- Managing online/web content and keeping it current
- Defining editorial workflow and organizing content
- Developing content strategy plans and content calendars
- Must be comfortable working in Website Admin/Content Management
- Experience with Drupal, SharePoint, Mambo, Joomla, Word Press and/or other Content Management system(s) preferred
- Must have strong interpersonal skills
- Must be able to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, while paying close attention to details and strict deadlines
- Should have excellent and creative organizational, time management problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Should be self-directed and creative and, most importantly, a team player
- Must be able to manage internal and external customers
