Core Banking Project Manager recruitment
The client is an international wholesale and investment bank which has a successful presence in Asia including China, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and India. It is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead a Core Banking Replacement project.
This is a 12 months contract role and requires frequent travelling to Jakarta.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
* Working closely with Program Manager, IT stream leads and PMO team to ensure project's deliverables are properly managed.
* Managing key deliverables / milestones of the project against agreed budget / planning
* Managing / coaching of team members and team leaders
* Maintaining relationships with key vendors and with global internal stakeholders
* Ensure progress reporting (weekly) and project board (monthly) together with the PMO team
* Ensure that prince2 PM standards are adopted and maintained
Qualifications and Skills:
* Minimum 10 years working experience within IT industry of which 5 years should be in the Banking and Finance industry
* Track record of successfully leading implementation of large, complex banking systems, prefebly core banking.
* Prince2 certification will be an added advantage.
* Experience with Temenos/T24 is a plus.
* Possess good communication skills and sensitive to cultural considerations.
* Strong focus on execution.
