Our client is a truly Top-Tier Global Investment Bank that he recently embarked on a large scale programme of work to overhaul its Middle/Back office trading infrastructure.
You will work in a small, highly knowledgeable team made up and seasoned International Investment Banking IT professionals. The other team members have a broad range of technical skills, however, you be the sole Java resource within the unit. As such you must have a comprehensive understanding of the JDK and be comfortable leading and mentoring senior technologist (one of which you will report into).
The role will require you to work closely with a Solutions Architect to design and develop Cross Product Client Valuation and Reconciliations applications that will integrate with the global technology stack. As a Senior Analyst Programmer you will be expected to thoroughly flush out requirements directly from the business users and assist in the production of functional and technical specifications before leading their implementation.
Requirements of the role:
- Strong Experience Designing, Developing and Implementing Core Java Applications
- Technical Leadership Experience
- A Through Understanding of Back Office Processes
- Strong knowledge of SQL (Stored Procedures, Triggers Complex Queries)
- Good Understanding of Unit Testing
- Exceptional Communication Interpersonal Skills
- Systems Integration Experience
- Comfortable Working in a Heterogeneous Environment
- Eligible To work in Australia
