Core Java & Web Developer Banking £45k recruitment
Prime Clearing Group in one of the most successful Investment Banks looking for strong Core Java and Web Developer to join their Cient Reporting and Data team.
This is a client facing role that requires the successful candidate to be a mixture of a technologist and an analyst. You will need to liaise with the business to gather their requirements and be able to describe the systems clearly and concisely.
From a technical perspective they are looking for the following skills:
Core Java (OO fundamentals, good understanding of the language)
XJS, Struts, JavaScript, JSPs.
Sybase, DB2
You do not need financial knowledge or experience in a financial role to secure this job - you do, however, have to demosntrate previous business / client facing experience, so consulting is a good background to come from, however, not mandatory.
From an academic perspective you must have a 2.1 or higher in a numerical discipline or equivalent.
