We are looking for a skilled and professional individual for this role in a privately held company with $1billion plus in revenues.
This individual will manage a staff acountant and an accounting clerk and will be responsible for the following:
- Consolidation accounting for three domestic plants and one international facility in Mexico.
- Accounting for several joint ventures of which the company has a minority ownership interest.
- Tracking product warranty activity.
- Mexico accounting activity including curency valuation.
- Oversight of fixed asset accounting including project management, CIP,forecasting and reporting.
- SOX compliance and account reconciliations
- Uploading of financial results into corporate consolidated reporting system.
- Balance sheet forecasting and planning.
- Oversight of intercompany transfer pricing
Professional, proven leader with excellent communication,organizational and time management skills.
At least five years of experience with consolidation accounting in a manufacturing environment.
B.S. in Accounting or Finance.
Corporate accounting managerial experience.
Experience with an integrated ERP system, preferably SAP.
Public acounting experience helpful.
CPA preferred.
