Corporate Actions Analyst, London recruitment
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Corporate Actions Analyst to join a top tier Investment Bank based in London. The individual will be involved in the processing of voluntary events within Europe, UK, Africa, Middle East and Euroclear such as rights issues, tenders and exchanges for equities, bonds and warrants.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconciliation of events
- Processing of voluntary European equity and bond corporate actions
- Supporting and liaising with internal trading desks, Prime broker clients, Stock loan c/parties and external brokers
- Extensive interaction with Client Services Group and other operations departments.
- Execution of client instructions to local custodian banks
- Monitor breaks between the client and their agent banks
- Reconciliation of internal control accounts
- Answer and resolve client queries
- Monitoring team and individual electronic diary
- Payment of Corporate Action events on the basis of confirmation received from the agent banks
- Liaise with external stock loan counterparties and brokers to settle outstanding claims
- Monitor breaks between the client and their agent banks
Key Requirements
- Good organization skills with regards to day to day and Project work
- Logical and proactive thinker
- Strong team player with good communication skills
- Ability to work to challenging deadlines and targets
- Understanding of a broker dealer environment
- Experience of convertible bonds preferential.
