BUSINESS UNIT INFORMATION:

SEI is developing a transformational service and technology capability, incorporating functionality for client administration, financial and non-financial advice, investment modelling and decision support through to full client accounting, portfolio administration and reporting. The suite of services will be the first of its kind, built on a deep understanding of the new wealthy client and how advisers must adapt to serve them and provides truly end-to-end functionality, all residing on a single global platform. This allows for a holistic view of client relationships and their activities with control metrics.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a member of the Global Wealth Services Operations Business Service Team, the Corporate Action Manager will be responsible for processing global events on the GWP Platform and managing a team of Analysts. The jobholder will handle multi-currency events dealing with internal SEI groups as well as external custodians vendors. This position will require an individual who has managerial experience, is detail oriented, efficient, and able to handle the pressure of working to tight deadlines in a high volume environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage a team of Corporate Action Analysts
• Process global corporate events across multiple clients in a timely manner.
• Review, investigate resolve exceptions.
• Review event detail dealing with custodians and second source validation where applicable.
• Reconcile and clear suspense accounts
• Communicate with administrators and clients on important corporate action issues
• Action voluntary event instructions with the market and agents.
• Provide Service and support to SEI Investments Europe (Ltd) London UK and various other SEI remote locations
• Liaise with Operating and business units as required to provide awareness of processing problems as they arise

OTHER:
• Keep Current – (market conditions, regulation, SEI products and services, etc) and maintain ongoing and effective communication and alignment of these with client business practices.
• Maintenance and updating of internal systems/ data reference points in agreed format to ensure consistency and communication of relevant information within the team and ensure integrity of data.
• Any other ad-hoc projects as required.

Position Requirements:

• Managerial experience
• Solid understanding of global corporate events
• Good understanding of the securities industry
• Knowledge of UK impact on book costs arising from CA processing including apportionment based on first day market value rules.
• Knowledge of SWIFT format messaging preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook and Access.
• Ideally degree educated with experience within financial services. Private banking, mutual funds and investment advisory is preferred as is industry knowledge of private banking, asset management and investment processing.
• Excellent project management, organizational and PC skills.
