Corporate Administrative Assistant
JOB SUMMARY:
Coordinates department activity by performing the following duties. Other duties may be assigned.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Composes and types routine correspondence which includes; follow-up letters for meetings, proposals, reports and development plans.
- Files correspondence and other records.
- Answers telephone and gives information to callers or routes call to appropriate manager.
- Schedules and reschedules customer meetings.
- Helps to schedule and organize departmental meetings.
- Compiles and prepares statistical reports.
- Records and distributes minutes of staff meetings.
- Makes copies of correspondence or other printed matter.
- Prepares outgoing mail.
- Handles assigned long and short term projects for managers and other assigned parties.
- Keeps accurate records of time cards for department including vacation, holidays and sick time.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with most commonly used office software applications.
