Corporate Advisory, Senior Associate / VP
We represent a boutique, independent corporate and financial advisory firm. Established by highly regarded principals, the company’s services span broad corporate finance and capital markets advice to clients including major listed and private companies across all significant industry sectors.
The senior leadership team brings together first class corporate finance advisory expertise providing clients with independent and strategic advice across a range of corporate finance issues including mergers and acquisitions, divestments and demergers, capital structure and dividend policy, equity capital markets transactions and debt finance / restructuring.
Due to continued growth, the team is looking to recruit a Senior Associate or Vice President who will be involved in delivering to a wide range of transactions. Responsibilities include client interaction, transaction management, due diligence coordination and modelling oversight for advisory transactions. The role will also involve some travel.
To be considered for this opportunity, you should possess the following:
- To be tertiary qualified in Finance, Commerce or Law with post graduate qualifications highly regarded
- 5-7 years relevant banking experience, ideally with both debt and MA advisory credentials
- Strong financial acumen, including solid understanding of PL and financial products; and outstanding modelling (DCF) skills;
- Strong communication and presentation skills when dealing with both internal and external parties;
- Well-developed negotiation and influencing skills;
