This role will develop integrated corporate affairs strategies, plans and processes to help business units and NAB's major transformation project teams achieve their business objectives. With strong leadership skills and in acting as a genuine 2IC for the 'Head of' you will be capable of establishing, enhancing and managing relationships between your business regarding media engagements and issues management to maximise the positive external coverage of the business.

To be suitable for this role, you will be tertiary qualified in communications, journalism, finance or a related discipline with extensive experience in a corporate communications role. You will have worked within an issues rich company and have proven knowledge of the media and a capacity to build relationships with key media players. Your ability to think strategically, and to demonstrate a broader-based view of issues, events and activities and understand their wider term impact will be key selection criteria.
