Corporate Audit Senior recruitment
I am currently working closely with a global blue chip company, that is also a very famous brand. The company has a strong history of working inPolanddating back to the 1990's, and as such they are very well established in this location. The audit function within the group as a whole is growing, especially inPoland, where this is the second newly created position in the department this year.

The role:
This role is closely linked with a larger corporate audit department based inGermany. The growth of theWarsawteam is logistically advantageous for the company's continued growth inEastern Europe. As such the travel requirement for this role would be between 70-80%, with any remaining time spent in theWarsawoffice. This role reporting to the Audit manager inGermanywill involve:
- Reviewing a wide variety of organisational and functional activities in accordance with the company audit methodology and accepted auditing standards.
- Supporting the audit team to achieve overall company objectives
- Determining whether entities are performing their planning, accounting, custodial and control activities in adherence with management instructions
- Evaluating the system of internal controls and identifying control weaknesses
- Reporting observations and making recommendations for improving the risk mitigation process
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years internal/external audit experience, ideally with one of the Big 4.
- Experience of working in Business Risk or Advisory departments
- A portfolio of industry clients, ideally with some experience of working with global manufacturing clients
- Fluency in Polish and English
- US GAAP and/or IFRS
- CIA/ACCA qualifications would be highly desirable, although the company will fund a CIA qualification upon appointment if necessary.
