Corporate Banking

This position will be focused on developing new business in the Manufacturing - Engineering - Industrials Large Corporate space (FTSE 100-250). Candidates will be managing a very small portfolio of existing clients however the emphasis on the role is to originate new business.

Role
• New Business Development - with a minimum of 20 Group Treasurer contacts
• Sector Focus: Manufacturing - Engineering - Industrial experience in large corporate areas - FTSE 100-250
• Small amount of management of existing portfolios, the main focus is almost wholly on new business development.
• Front office origination relationship management across multi-industry corporate clients
• You will be required to cross-sell the bank?s products (predominantly debt, contract bonding, raising deposits, FX) with a view to maximising the team?s revenues. This will include working closely with the credit officer in assessing credit worthiness , identifying risk and reducing risk of customers.
• Should be able to develop new profitable relationships to add to the bank?s revenue stream and successfully maintain-develop these key relationships.

Candidate
• A proven track record of managing and developing UK corporate relationships with Large FTSE100-250 in the Manufacturing - Engineering - Industrials arena.
• Experience within Financial Services industry, specifically Corporate Banking
• Proven track record in similar department-business stream
• Sound background in credit analysis, ideally covering many industry sectors.
• Relevant professional qualification advantageous.
• A good understanding of cash flow
• An ability to navigate around and understand a loan document, both bilateral and syndicated.
