We are looking to recruit a Relationship Manager.
In this role you will support the Relationship Director(s) (or equivalent) in developing new customer relationships, actively managing the relationship with existing customers, providing excellent customer service, increasing the breadth of their relationship with the Bank, marketing the Bank''s products and services (to Corporate and Commercial customers within all relevant markets), delivering sustainable income and contributing towards the profit of the division, within the Group''s risk principles.

As a Relationship Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
- Proven track record of experience in Commercial/Corporate Banking, and the ability to demonstrate broad knowledge of all aspects of this as it relates to the target customers
- Technical credit skills gained in a Banking environmentSubstantial experience in a Banking environment, preferably within relationship management
- Practical understanding of treasury management as it relates to large companies
- High level of knowledge and skill of Windows packages - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and relevant business databases/systems
- Ability to build personal links and work well with Relationship Directors in order to provide a seamless service to customers
- Very good numerical, data analysis and financial evaluation skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence at all levels both internally and externally
As a Relationship Manager your main responsibilities will be to:
- Produce applications for lending including extraction and interpretation of financial data and reports from potential and existing customers, preparation of balance sheet analysis and all supporting documentation
- To be involved in the preparation of (align) Facility Documentation with reference to external lawyers if appropriate.
- Supporting the Relationship Directors'' (or equivalent) in producing annual reviews - collations and analysis of audited accounts, customer forecasts etc.
- Support the business area to achieve/exceed financial targets through full Relationship Banking - income generation for existing and new to Bank business
- Support Relationship Directors or equivalent in meeting targets for profit, credit quality, new customers, cross-sales, customer satisfaction, and retention
- Support the origination of new customer relationships for the core product set of lending, current account, deposit, and money transmission
- Support the development and maintenance of a network of introducers in the professional business community
- Achieve and maintain the required levels of regulatory process and to effectively manage and recommend appropriate risk exposures in accordance with the Group''s risk principles
- To support the preparation and implementation of a comprehensive marketing programme
- Support the Corporate business to achieve objectives in terms of commercial behaviour and customer acquisition targetsAssist Relationship Directors (or equivalent) in achieving the appropriate number of customer and prospect visits per week for the particular business area

Salary: Up to £42,900 + and excellent benefits
