Corporate Banking Relationship Manager recruitment
Role description
The purpose of the role is to primarily manage the relationship of a designated portfolio of large corporate companies with the objective to build the quality and profitability of the portfolio by developing existing accounts and sourcing new relationships.
Ideally the client is looking for a candidate that has experience in the construction and project finance market as a corporate relationship manager for a bank. But Oil and gas client experience is also desirable.
The candidate would be involved in the preparation of limit proposals for credit review, meeting and developing relationships with their corporate clients as well as sourcing new relationships. Also managing the operational issues of the client and bank relationship.
Who we're looking for
• Ideally the right candidate will have been a credit analyst early in their career and transitioned to corporate relationship management
• The ideal candidate would have at least3 years experience in a Corporate Banking Relation Manager role
• Demonstrable proof in developing new business
• Experience in an International Banking environment is an advantage
• Degree in a relevant field (Economics, Finance, Business Admin or Accounting)
• Project finance experience is needed
• Tier 1 banks are highly desirable
• Arabic speaking is an advantage
