Orrick is looking for a Career Associate to join our Corporate practice in our Global Operations Center (GOC) in Wheeling, WV. This Career Associate will be working on a variety of corporate transactions practice representing public companies. Qualifications include: JD from an accredited law school. Member in good standing of the bar of a U.S. state or territory. 0-3 years experience in an Am Law 100 firm doing corporate work. Previous corporate experience doing company set-ups and incorporation. Previous experience with complicated finance and tax deals. Strong attention to detail. Ability to manage a process and meet deadlines. Proven judgment and decision making skills. Adaptability to being remotely supervised by attorneys in other practice offices. Strong interpersonal and client-service skills. A demonstrated high level of academic achievement preferred
