Overview

The position is a Corporate Communications headcount at Associate level based in Hong Kong, supporting the Community Affairs, Sustainability, Marketing Branding and Internal Communications functions for Asia Pacific reporting into the Head of these functions for the region.

The role

1) Philanthropy

i) Support regional Community Affairs and employee engagement initiatives in the following areas:
- Liaise and coordinate with local charity committees across the region
- Community Affairs program coordination, including scheduling volunteer programs, internal educational events and charity fund raising drives
- Administration, including tracking spend of regional budgets and invoicing
- Content management of Asia Pacific Community Affairs website / document management
- Disaster relief coordination and administration
- Assist with payment logistics: coordinating employee donations, salary deductions, cheques to charities
- Global Volunteer Month coordination: sourcing volunteer events, working with global Community Affairs on tracking and reporting
- Overall data management for Community Affairs activities

2) Sustainability

i) Support regional Sustainability initiatives including:
- Sustainability speaker series and employee events in Asia Pacific - specifically Hong Kong, including arranging programs, and volunteering activities
- Support the roll out and administration of global programs in Asia Pacific

3) Advertising (including sponsorship ads, logos, IPO ads, congratulations ads, product/retail ads, anniversary ads)

i) Vendor liaison for production related issues
ii) Coordination on advertising requests
iii) Agency liaison on media plans and quotations
iv) Competitive tracking

4) Marketing/Sponsorships

i) Facilitate logo requests and business card review and approval
ii) Manage stationary review and sourcing
iii) Website content maintenance and updating (content collection, approvals, editing and updating content via web based tools)
iv) Sponsorship coordination and competitor tracking
v) Source speaking opportunities; coordinate marketing materials for sponsorships/speaking roles and thought leadership opportunities
vi) Manage memberships of local business organizations

5) Internal Communications

i) Manage internal email approvals
ii) Intranet content management, managing regional requests for internal stories
iii) Internal employee event coordination
iv) Oversee other internal communication tools, including posters and emails

Skills Required:
- Strong project management experience a must
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
- Good people skills as will be required to communicate with internal and external parties, including charitable partners, vendors
- Experience with production process and dealing with marketing/advertising vendors
- Online/web experience an asset
- Strong communication skills
- Solid understanding of client management and deadlines
- Strong knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint an asset
- English and Cantonese required (Mandarin an asset)
