Our client provides banking and financial services to local markets. They are looking for a talented and driven individual to join the organisation as a Communications Manager.
Based in Hong Kong and reporting to the Head of Communication Department, you will be responsible for writing and editing Chinese speeches, newspaper supplements and corporate communications materials as well as translating important English communication announcements. You will manage internal communication channels including the Bank's newsletter and daily broadcasts to staff. You will also be involved in the production of the annual report and interim report.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- University degree in Chinese Literature, Language, Communications, Journalism or a related discipline
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in writing and editing, preferably with exposure to the public relations/financial industry
- Sound knowledge of and great sensitivity to business and public issues
- A team player, with an ability to work independently and under pressure
- Excellent communication skills in both written spoken English and Chinese
