We have a position available for the Corporate Communications Manager located at our corporate headquarters in Danvers, MA. Position responsibilities include: - Execute all trade public relations activities in support of the OEM auto, General Lighting and Display/Optic NAFTA divisions. - Develop effective communications strategies for internal and external customers; partner with clients to deliver high quality communications with speed and accuracy. - Communicate effectively and clearly to all level of management within each customer group including general managers, product managers, human resources managers, plants, environmental marketing and safety managers. - Manage activities of outside PR agencies. Establish and maintain relationships with industry and trade press contacts. - Contribute editorial content to company news magazines and support marketing and PR social media efforts via Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn. - Bachelors degree in journalism, communications or English, plus a minimum 7 years related experience required. - Strong writing experience with understanding of how to create press releases, contributed articles, case studies, media pitches and award submissions. - Ability to think and execute both strategically and tactically. - Demonstrated capabilities with MS Office programs. - Experience giving and preparing presentations is required. - Strong attention to detail, organization, and cross channel collaboration required. - Experience in lighting, technology or trade public relations preferred. - Time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment. - Some overnight domestic and international travel is required in this position.
