Corporate Communications recruitment
Develop excellent relationships with local and regional Chinese and English media
- Field media enquiries and ad-hoc requests when required
- Develop fund launch and corporate announcement press materials (e.g. press release, QA, reactive statement)
- Develop ideas for press interviews and article placement opportunities. Review content and obtain compliance approval of all related material
- Manage PR vendor in organizing media initiatives such as press conferences, media roundtables and media educational workshops
- Evaluate and manage sponsorship and speaking opportunities
- Manage, evaluate and keep track of media relations success measures
Brand Issues Management
- Identify and cover corporate issues crisis management
- Develop corporate issues messaging and positioning strategies
- Manage brand and visual identity to ensure the firm's brand is clearly and consistently communicated internally and externally in all related activity
- Oversee the corporate content on the company website to ensure accurate, timely information that is in line with approved corporate positioning.
Internal Communications
- ManageHong Kongcorporate communications intranet submissions and content
- Secure internal speakers for monthly staff educational seminar. On-site event facilitation support as required
- Work with Corporate Communications Officer to organise corporate events such as All Company meetings
Job Requirements
Your skills and experience
- Graduate or equivalent with communications, business or marketing qualification
- Proven leadership and management skills within a large, multinational organization
- Skills in management, planning, analysis, communication, presentation and negotiation
- At least 6-8 years experience in public relations, preferably within the finance industry or PR consultancy experience. Knowledge of Asian markets is essential.
- A mature, independent achiever
- A strategic thinker who can visualize the longer term 'big picture'.
- Superiorcommunication skills, both written and oral, in Cantonese and English are required.
- Articulate and able to communicate and work with a broad variety of personalities at all levels.
- Team player with proven interpersonal skills in building connections within the organization
- Excellent listening and persuasive skills.
- Comprehension of mutual funds/investment management preferred.
