Corporate Development (M&A) Manager Job in Foster City 94404, California US

QuinStreet is looking to expand its Corporate Development team by hiring a Corporate Development Manager.  The Corporate Development team is responsible for all mergers and acquisitions at Quinstreet.  We are a very active team, executing on a substantial number of deals both large and small.  The team works in a highly integrated fashion with the business teams to source and identify potential acquisitions, present proposals to executive leadership, build valuations and post-acquisition operating plans, negotiate/close transactions and integrate them into the organization.  The Corporate Development Manager will work actively on all aspects of the deal process as well as analyze new markets for growth/expansion.   

Responsibilities

•        Build and analyze media landscape for target markets, track market trends and identify acquisition opportunities

•        Work with the business unit leaders to build financial valuation models for acquisition opportunities and prepare what-if analyses and scenario modeling

•        Work with sellers to gather data in support of valuation models and fit assessment  

•        Drive due diligence examinations of acquisition targets and support the process of acquiring and integrating acquisitions

•        Track, report and analyze the financial performance of Quinstreet’s acquired portfolio of sites on a quarterly basis to executive team

•        Conduct industry and market research to assess QuinStreet’s MA potential in specific industries and /or geographies

•        Initiate strategy and manage analysis efforts regarding expansion into new media channels such as mobile, social and video

General Requirements

•        We are looking for ambitious self starters who are have strong analytic and communication skills

•        Minimum 3 years experience, post undergraduate

•        Experience with consulting firm, investment bank, PE firm and/or corp. development is required

•        Looking for individuals who thrive in a fast paced, steep learning curve environment

•        MBA preferred, but not mandatory
